The Tree House Wall Art

Ok, so not as much fun as a real tree house, but would still be a great feature for any bedroom or playroom. I found them at plush toys and although they will set you back $195NZ, they are the difference between a cute bedroom and an absolutely stunning bedroom. The best bit is that you get a multitude of colours to choose from, so you can perfectly match the colour scheme you already have going on.

Apparently Plush Toys has them custom made and shipped over from France, so there is a three week waiting period, but when someone asks where you got the fab wall art from, you can say FRANCE, well technically speaking anyway.

Memories

Wow, its been years since I have thought of Holly Hobbie. I got my Holly Hobbie bedspread when I was about five.and gosh I loved it-so pretty and feminine. In hindsight I wish I had kept it for Scarlett! You can just imagine how excited I was when I discovered this Holly Hobbie bunting on madeit.

Made beautifully by oopsidaisi, the bunting measures two metres in length and would look so good in a little girls room. While you're checking out the bunting, make sure you have a look at all her other products, very very cute!

Great Christmas Ideas

What a great idea! Personalised colouring books for boys and girls from Frecklebox. My kiddies would love one of theses, they love seeing their name EVERYWHERE! There are lots of different themes to choose from such as mermaids, cars, princesses, christmas etc etc. My favourite is definitely the rock star colouring books.
You can also get personalised lunch boxes,storybooks,clipboards,stickers,puzzles,placemats-the list goes on and on..

Vintage blocks

I love these 'vintage' blocks that I found on etsy. I am thinking of purchasing them as a gift for my new 'niece or nephew' who is due to arrive mid next month. If you get a chance go check out the seller's other items. There are other blocks that spell 'kiss,' 'playtime.' 'i love you,' plus many more

What a sweetie!

This is my beautiful 17 month old nephew Finn. I know I am biased, but he is so adorable! The only problem is,he lives on the other side of the country, so I don't get to see him nearly as much as I like. But on a good note, we will get to spend Christmas with him this year. The first Christmas with all the 'grandkids' together.

The latest 'Trendy' product to hit our website. Who would have thought boardies covered in 'junk food' would be cool? But it works.

My 5 year old sat for a good twenty mins today going through the different types of food [hot dogs, cupcakes, sundaes etc]. It was the quietest 20 mins I have had in days.

Seriously, in a playground full of 'chain store' boardies, you will have the other mummies proclaiming your sense of style [oh, i mean his..sense of style lol]

Remember when......

I was a huge Punky Brewster fan....and silver spoons, diff'rent strokes, saved by the bell etc etc. Not sure I would wear this womans tshirt from My Teespot -but I would definitely love to get a hold of some old episodes for Scarlett when shes a bit older...

Something for the mums and dads

I love this mums and dads slogan tee from gifts of wit. I find myself repeating things my parents use to say, on a daily basis. Things I swore when I was young that I would never do when I became a mum-yet the apple doesn't seem to fall far from the tree. The tshirt comes in blue for men and brown for women and there are loads of other slogan tees available.

Hubby's Christmas present

Hubby is a huge Superman fan, I kid you not, think his car number plate, his tattoo, his screen saver, mugs, bowls plates and an extensive tshirt collection that could rival Imelda Marcos and her shoe fetish. I stupidly showed him this fab mural from room mates peel and stick.

The majority of their products are peel and stick, yet the extra large murals like this superman one are prepasted and water activated. It will set you back around $255US but according to hubby it is well worth it.

The Grateful Thread

I contacted the lovely people at the grateful thread recently to enquire about these gorgeous soft guitar pillows for my website. They come in an assortment of designs and are made of jeans and felt with embroidered details. Your little man will have a lot of fun with these. So keep an eye on our website, these funky softies may pop up there soon.

Rock Royalty Fedoras

I love love love these hats! A little bit of cute and a whole lot of Rock'n Roll.

These are a definite maybe for my website . This is the type of hat I'd love to wear myself but would feel to insecure, kids ,however have the ability to pull off even the most difficult of looks.

The Fedoras will fit most two year olds to seven year olds. Guess it depends on how big his noggin is!!!!

Keep an eye out at Just For Boys and you may see them soon, in the mean time check out babyrockapparel.com

We told the kids that as soon as we get our new house they can choose [within reason ofcourse] how to decorate their bedrooms. I showed Scarlett these fab wall stickers from love mae and she was soooo excited.

All their lovely stickers are made of fabric. This makes them perfect for children, as they are removable and completely reusable. They can be scrunched into a ball and will easily un-scrunch and re-apply to your wall, many times over.

Molo- Its in the Stars

Molo started out in 1999 to create usable and durable children's clothing. The company was first known as Vilmund as was created by Louise Frederiksen in Copenhagen. Louise graduated from the Danish Design School and in 2002 merged with Mogens Jepsen, the General Manager and Co- Owner of the company.

They didn't want to create the same lines as other children's clothing or pastel colours. Children are vibrant and therefore the clothing design from Molo had to follow in that line of thinking. This means that while they have dresses, skirts, shirts, and pants the designs are unique and the clothes are fun rather than elegant.

I just love anything with a star print, especially kids clothing and when I get a chance I am going to look into wholesale for my website .

If you want your child to stand out from the crowd, dress 'em up in Molo.

Tea Pony

Scarlett has a couple of tea pony pieces and you can guarantee whenever she wears them, she gets inundated with comments. I love the vintage look of their clothing ,so pretty and feminine
yet modern and stylish. I would love to see what they came up with if they did a range for boys! My favourite piece at the moment is the rocker tutu, which can be worn on its own in summer or under a pair of funky leggings for the colder months.

Growing Up Mummy!

I am a 31 year old women with 3 kids, Yet sometimes I question whether or not I am mentally stuck in my teens. Back then I was obsessed with Beverly Hills 90210 and New kids On The Block. Now ,more than 15 years later -my 'likes' have not yet matured.

My favourite show is MTV's The Hills. I am obsessed with Perez Hiltons celebrity Blog. One of my favourite movies is about a high school football team and I still to this day am harbouring a secret crush on Dawsons Creek's Pacey! I am totally gifted when it comes to knowing the names of every celebrity offspring, whether they be A B or C list ,but my knowledge of world figures [apart from who wore what at the oscars] is a little shady!

My idea of keeping up with current events is watching the latest episode of Jon and Kate plus 8 and when my girlfriend Ruth and I get together for coffee our conversations are centred around clothes, make up, calorie counting and which celebs are getting fat!!!

I have a theory about this though. I have been pregnant, breastfeeding and raising children since I was 24. Therefore once the whole 'nappy brain' thing kicked in,any chance of me progressing mentally-was stalled. My conversations were limited to discussions about which nappy brand I prefer, how long can a baby go without pooping before I'd consider them constipated. Not that I had very many adult conversations. I spent years saying the same thing over and over again-'Don"t put that in your mouth" 'No,we don't draw on walls', 'who put the whole damn roll of toilet paper in the toilet' 'please don't put mummys self-tanner in your hair','5am is too early to put your bob the builder dvd on'.

Perhaps I should set myself a little test! One whole week of watching nothing but Australian Story and National geographic.I will try to have educated conversations with friends about politics and religion. I will stop considering the opinions of Hamish and Andy to be 'gospel' and instead of reading my children books about 'Walter the farting dog', I will read them books about sustainable development.

Hmm this should be interesting, stay tuned.....................

I am in love with this "Camp Series" Fabric

I couldn't resist this purchase. I am a huge fan of quirky unique fabrics so as soon as I found it during one of my daily trawls of etsy, I just had to buy it. You will definitely see it on my website shortly just not sure whether to turn it into cushion covers or bunting! Would love to hear what you think.

If you'd like to purchase your own camp series fabric, check out leanneGraeff on etsy.

My Fashion Bible

I have been a huge fan of this mag since its conception, long before my website was operational. I will read it front to back, back to front etc etc. The pages will be filled with dog ears and old issues become proud coffee table books.

Coming soon to the Just For Boys website

I am a huge fan of etsy and love nothing more than spending hours just looking at all the wonderful things made by very talented people. In fact I am blaming etsy for my sink full of dishes and laundry full of dirty washing [ If only procrastinating was an olympic event!!!}. Anyway, I came across these funky Rock'n Blocks and thought they would look great on my website and in any boys room. So keep an eye out over the coming weeks.

Where to start!

There are so many great products out there for little ones, that I thought it was about time I shared my faves with others. If you know of a great product or website please let us know and I will be sure to check it out .
